India won by 5 wickets and 24 balls against Ireland, a comfortable victory for the Indians. However the Irish had a great game fielding and Porterfield came strong at the crease with 75 runs. But Yuvraj Singh's amazing all around performance made history in the World Cup as he is the first to pick up 5 wickets and score 50 runs in one match. India now has to face the Netherlands and Ireland moves on to play the red hot West Indies. Let's go India, all the way to the finals!
Also to the Lady Jags, great performance in the finals.Although they didn't win, they put up a fight and played well for their first appearance in the State Finals. We always have next year!
